Inflation annual estimated IPC in December of 2020 was 0.5%, three dcimas above each November (down 0.8%), according to the leading indicator developed by the National institute of Statistics (INE).

This indicator provides a preview of IPC that, if confirmed, supondra an increase of three dcimas in its annual rate with regard to November. The prices accumulate as much as nine months in negative territory.

In this moderation of the decline highlights the rise of electricity prices, which lowered the year past. Also influences the prices of the fuels and fuels are increased this month more than they did in December 2019.

For its part, the variation in the annual leading indicator of the CPI, Harmonized (HICP) is located in the 0.6% in December. If this data is confirmed, the annual change of the HICP increased two dcimas respect to the previous month.

In variation monthly basis, consumer prices recorded in December, a rate of 0.2% for the month of November, according to the leading indicator of the CPI.
